What is Microsoft Imagine Academy?

Microsoft Imagine Academy offers a suite of online training materials, which specialise in Microsoft certified courses. It enables learners to validate their skills by completing the Microsoft Specialist Programs available at three levels (Specialist, Expert and Master), and to work towards industry-recognised certifications.

Learners can expect to find courses covering everything from all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite, to specialist Microsoft Server and Developer courses.

This service is available to members of the Izmir Institute of Technology.

How do I access Microsoft Imagine Academy courses?

Izmir Institute of Technology staff and students have free access to Microsoft Imagine Academy.  First-time visitors of Microsoft Imagine Academy must first register.

To register:

You only need to follow this process the first time you sign-up to use Microsoft Imagine Academy Online Learning.

if it is not the first time (Go to https://imagineacademy.microsoft.com/  and click sign in).

To access Microsoft Imagine Academy Online Learning in the future (once you have first registered) below.

1. Go to the Microsoft Imagine Academy Online Learning sign-in page (https://imagineacademy.microsoft.com), and click Sign In:

2. Choose Office 365 account:

3. Enter your “username@pers365.iyte.edu.tr” or “username@ogr365.iyte.edu.tr” in the Email address and click Sign In:

4. Following successful authentication, you will be directed to the Microsoft Imagine Academy Online Learning home page.
Click the ‘here‘ link in the first bullet point:

5. Important: Go to this link and copy your Enrollment Code. (You will use this code)

Enter your Enrollment Code  and “username@ogr365.iyte.edu.tr” or “username@pers365.iyte.edu.tr” email address, and click Submit:

6. Please read the terms & conditions. If you agree to them, tick the I Accept checkbox, and then click Continue:

7. You will see a confirmation message; click Continue

8. Complete the form with your personal details. Fill in the fields associated with the red star and then click Save:

9. You will now see the Microsoft Imagine Academy Online Learning portal homepage:

Digital Literacy Courses

These courses have been created by Microsoft to teach basic computer skills and are free to everyone. Offered online, they walk through using a computer and Windows, gaining web and search skills, and introducing beginner users to Microsoft Office. Each course is estimated to run two to three hours and is an excellent resource for those new to computing.
